The Michael Reese Youth Clinic in Chicago is a community-based psychiatric clinic for delinquent and predelinquent adolescents and their parents. The clinic staff also consult and collaborate with police youth officers, parole officers, probation officers, and local community workers. In four vignettes the authors describe how the clinic interacts with youth-related public agencies in treating delinquents.
